US fashion brand Max Studio has signed at London Designer Outlet (LDO), Wembley.
Max Studio, founded by American fashion designer Leon Max, has several retail stores in the US and the Far East and made its UK debut in 2011. It has signed a 10 year lease for 2357 sq ft at London’s first bespoke designer outlet centre.
The upmarket female fashion retailer follows hot on the heels of Marks & Spencer, Superdry and Guess, who all agreed terms in May. Quintain has also secured a host of F&B brands at LDO, including Prezzo and Homemade Burger, which will occupy the ground floor of the 350,000 sq ft centre.
More that twelve months before it is due to open LDO is fifty per cent (by Year One base rent) exchanged or in solicitors hands. Construction is underway at the centre which is adjacent to a new four star Hilton hotel and a new 660-student accommodation development scheduled to open for the next academic year.
Phil Cottingham, head of retail at Quintain, said: “It is a real coup for us to have signed Max Studio at Wembley. This will be London’s first bespoke designer outlet so we need to supplement the strong retail anchors we already have in place with luxury brands, both those that are familiar names in the UK and those that are less so. Max Studio will be a major draw for shoppers at Wembley, and is the type of international luxury brand we are keen to attract.”
