UK-based footwear retailer Dune is set to open new stores in Abu Dhabi and Kuwait later this month.
The retailer, which already operates 19 stores in the Middle East, plans to open two new stores in Abu Dhabi and two in Kuwait before the end of August.
The retailer, whose stores in Landmark Mall, Qatar and Mirdiff City Centre in Dubai are currently undergoing refurbishment, said the openings were part of its continuing international growth.
“We are confident that sales have been strong and that our new concept stores will launch Dune into new markets whilst capitalising further on our existing strong store portfolio,” said Claire Lamb, head of international and wholesale in comments published by fashion website Drapers.
“Now is a very exciting time for Dune as we look to grow the brand and position ourselves as market leaders in affordable luxury accessories and footwear,” she told the website.
Dune has 45 standalone stores and 163 concessions across Europe, Russia and the Middle East, Drapers said.
